Prime Sports Ventures was founded on a clear conviction: long-term success in professional sport is created where sporting expertise, investment capital, governance and technology come together. Too often, these disciplines still operate in silos.

The firm was established by Peter Fossen and Daniel van Loenen, who share the same core values of credibility, trust and long-term partnership. We recognise that sustainable value in sports requires not only access to opportunities, but the ability to act as a trusted advisor in complex decision-making environments.

Peter brings decades of hands-on experience from within professional football, having worked closely with federations, leagues, clubs and international competitions. Daniel adds a background in finance and M&A, with extensive experience in complex transactions, ownership structures and strategic investments. Together with our team of experts, we bridge sporting reality with financial and strategic discipline.

Prime Sports Ventures was intentionally built as a multi-disciplinary sports advisory and investment platform. Our network of seasoned professionals brings together expertise across strategy, governance, M&A, operations, sports technology and commercial partnerships, supported by an extensive international network across sport and investment.

We work in a selective and hands-on manner, alongside owners, boards, investors and management teams, acting as a trusted advisor focused on alignment, risk management and long-term value creation rather than short-term transactions.
